Ice climbing is a sexy sport, a scary sport and a really cold sport at times. If you defined Adventure as a combination of challenge+risk+unknown outcome, then you would have ice climbing among a few other fitting sports. Being well prepared for a cold day of ice climbing involves a positive mindset, proper equipment, lots of food, warm beverages and gloves, as well as being fit! Bill has climbed with me for a number of years. He as learned the physical movement skills, the technical safety skills and communication to climb ice. But it wasn't until he and I started a conversation about nutrition and exercise that Bill began to climb with confidence. He lost 20 pounds simply by eating more vegetables. My message to anyone who is looking to feel better and have more adventures is to take a look at what is happening at home. Adventures start in the kitchen! I have a successful private practice as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. Click the link to get a consultation http://ryanhoweshealth.com/oneonone.html
